These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the builtbyglass.ca website (the "Site") operated by Built By Glass Inc. ("Built By Glass," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Website Use

You may use this Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable Canadian, provincial, or municipal law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems
• Scrape, harvest, or copy content for commercial use without written permission
• Use the Site to transmit harmful or malicious content

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, designs, and software — is owned by Built By Glass Inc. or used under licence. Content is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Personal browsing and printing for non-commercial reference is permitted; redistribution, modification, or commercial use is not.

3. Quotes & Estimates

Estimates produced through our Build & Price tool, online quote requests, or initial conversations are preliminary only. Final pricing is established after an in-home laser measure and is subject to confirmed scope, site conditions, and material availability. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

4. Service Agreements

Engagement of Built By Glass services is governed by a separate Service Agreement signed by both parties prior to installation. The terms of that agreement — including pricing, scope, warranties, deposits, and cancellation terms — govern the parties' relationship and supersede any conflicting language on this Site.

5. Warranty

Built By Glass provides a five-year written warranty on residential glass installations covering manufacturing defects, hardware failure, and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, water damage from unrelated sources, structural movement of the building, acts of nature, or modifications made by third parties. Specific warranty terms are included in your Service Agreement.

6. Reviews & Testimonials

Reviews and testimonials displayed on the Site are real and provided by Built By Glass clients. They reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of future results.

7. Third-Party Content & Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except where required by Canadian law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Built By Glass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site shall not exceed CAD $100.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
